We have been offering vacation travel for years. Our guests have often requested some sort of check lists that they could use to help insure a successful vacation. We have drawn from our own experience and had many contributions from our clients. Not all items apply to all people or all vacations. This is what we have developed:

Remember you can no longer take in carry on nail clippers, knives, etc.
There are ATM's all over France. But they will take only money from checking accounts, not from savings.
I have found the best way to travel is to layer clothing. If the temperatures may be cool then take a sweater to layer over your shirt. Take a jacket or suit coat on top of that. In all but summer I take a trench coat for travel to Europe. A hat comes in handy.
