Barging Thru France

TERMS & CONDITIONS For    French Barge Lorraine

CRUISE ROUTES All itineraries may operate in the opposite direction on alternate weeks. Itineraries and moorings are subject to modification in the case of unforeseen circumstances such as canal closure and navigation problems. Excursions are subject to availability and may be done in a different order than mentioned in the itinerary. At Barging Thru France we are constantly developing our programs.  We may modify our overnight stops and excursion in order to assure a consistently high standard of moorings and visits. We suggest that you visit www.bargingthrufrance.com  for updated itineraries before you depart.

CRUISE PRICE The enclosed price list explains inclusions in the cruise price. Our prices do not cover any other services or benefits, including:

l Gratuities for crew (we suggest 100 euros per passenger).
l Travel Insurance. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance, as we strictly apply our terms and conditions.
l Bar drinks.

l The services of a massage therapist when available*
l Transfers from Paris.
l Hot-air balloon excursions---Hot-Air Balloon Excursions are independent of the Lorraine cruise and your travel agent.  It is a private contract between yourself and the balloon operator.

*Vicki Clarke has agreed to be the Boat Manager.  Coincidently she holds 5 diplomas in Massage Therapy.  On board she will be happy to make separate arrangements with those who would like to use her services.  The “when available” is mentioned because if something were to happen to Vicki  (a broken arm for example) that would eliminate her from giving massages, we may not  be able to replace the massage therapist.  I am confident she will be there throughout the season.  The use of a massage therapist is independent of the Lorraine cruise and your travel agent.  It is a private contract between yourself and the therapist.
