American Dream Vacations offers vacationers a European Vacation cruise on it's luxury European canal boat, the Charlemagne which offers vacation cruisers 4 different European vacation cruise itineraries in Holland and Germany.  On board the Charlemagne, you will be treated to Gourmet meals, 3 per day, complimented with unlimited wine at lunch and dinner.  Each day on your Charlemagne European cruise vacation you will be treated to a guided tour to some special regional site.  The Charlemagne takes an intimate group of 32 passengers in comparative luxury with some cabins deluxe suites. We offer vacationers 6 different European Cruise Programs;

1. Holland during the Tulip Season.  See Holland at it's brightest time of the year, the spring tulip season.  Our Holland Cruise visits sites that have made this country a popular tourist site for centuries.

2. Amsterdam to Koblenz Germany and reverse at end of season.  These two transition cruises give the vacationer the chance to do a true Rhine River Cruise with all the castles and chateaus along the way.  The Rhine is one of the most popular cruising rivers in the world.

3. The Moselle River---At Koblenz the Moselle and Neckar River converge.  This allows us the possibility of a week long cruise from Koblenz on either river.  We will do Koblenz to Metz France one week with the return the next week.

4. The Rhine and the Neckar River---from Koblenz offers another fantastic cruise itinerary. You will travel the Romantic Rhine with it's riverside castles and towns and villages dated from Roman times before turning on the Neckar river to magnificant Heidelberg and then on to the pastoral beauty of the Neckar Valley. 

5. Because Charlemagne is making two German itineraries it is possible for you to book a two week cruise on several dates.  All Metz departures can be set up as two week programs.   The same is true for all Bad Wimpfen departures. Furthermore the transition cruise from Amsterdam can be extended into a two week program. 

On each itinerary you will be treated to 5 different shore excursion.  Transport, admissions and guides are included..  Combine this with your gourmet meals, complimentary wine with lunch and dinner,  in cabin satellite TV w/CNN, on board satellite 24/7 internet service, and the intimate ambiance that only a small boat can provide and you have the makings of the best vacation of your life.

My wife and I just finished a Moselle River Cruise from Metz to Koblenz.   One of the passengers on board told us she thought this boat was unpretentious Luxury.   This is definitely a 4 Star product with a 4Star boat, 4 Star food, a 4 star crew and four, 4 Star, Itineraries. Those of you familiar with the intimacy of the Canal & Company product will be certainly impressed by Charlemagne

There are two deluxe suites aboard Charlemagne	Each room has a television and receives CNN	Standard Cabins are spacious and comfortable
Every cabins has a double sink	All cabins have a shower with masage spray jets on one wall of the shower.	The Lounge is a favorite gathering place with its comfortable furnishings and large picture windows.

Those wishing to stay in touch via email will be happy to learn that on Charlemagne there is a satellite connection to the internet.  While this will not allow you to use your own laptop, there is a ships computer available to everyone

The little touches Canal & Company has put into this ship make it stand out from the normal River/Canal cruise found in Europe.

Charlemagne is blessed with a great crew.  Pictured are Boat Manager Kristof and Boat Captain  Ben. Kristof sets the tone for the crew.   He is an excellent boat Manager and his team will work hard to make this one of the best vacations of your life. Captain Ben was born on a boat in a family of professional boaters.   His command has taken him throughout Europe and even on the Nile in Egypt.  He brings a touch of class to the operation of the Charlemagne

All the crew are important.  But if you do not eat well your vacation will not be memorable.   Mario is the Head Chef on board Charlemagne.  Each day with his Sous Chef, Alvin, Mario cooks up delicacies that  will make your mouth water.  Bring along one pair of clothes one size bigger than normal to wear home. We all wished we could clone Mario and take him home with us.
